The Pardot Winter 22 release is here and there is a lot to unpack! So what does this mean for Pardot users?
In a recent webinar with Director of Product Management at Salesforce, Kylie Yancey, we took a look at the features of the Pardot Winter 22 release, including:
- Pardot API V5 enhancements
- Brazilian Portuguese support
- Marketing setup assistant
- Support for external activity
- Custom components in email
- Email Builder enhancements
- Email content in Engagement Studio
- Drag-and-drop Landing Page Builder
I also shared a comprehensive demo to show what it looks like to use these features in Pardot.
If you missed the live webinar, it's not too late! You can visit this page to register and watch the recorded version or read on for my pick of the essential highlights of the Winter 22 Pardot release.
Tracking external activity in your automations
Ever wanted to know how your customers are engaging with content once it has been sent? With the latest Pardot release, you can now track activity data to see exactly that.
Using the new V5 API end-points, external activity is passed into Pardot and later surfaced on the prospect record directly, allowing you to create automated and bespoke experiences using prospect activity data from third-party apps.
Content enhancements
We’ve spoken about the arrival of Pardot’s Landing Page Builder before, so we’re excited that it’s finally here.
Using the new Landing Page Builder, you can drag and drop images, buttons, Pardot forms and more to create a customised landing page in Pardot.
What’s more, your customised landing pages will be responsive to any device, you have the ability to decide when landing pages are published and unpublished, and you can access metrics and content at any time (regardless of whether content is published or unpublished).
This feature is available to all Pardot users in the new update, and if you need guidance on how to onboard team members who may be new to the builder, we’ve got you covered!
Email experience enhancements
The update to the Pardot email experience focuses largely on the way you build your emails in Engagement Studio.
You can use emails created with the drag-and-drop builder in Email Studio, enjoy multiple tracker domain support, and navigate the builder experience with ease using pre-built layouts, breadcrumbs, and column spacing control.
If you’re interested in some tips and tricks for best practice when using Engagement Studio, you can read more about it in our blog here.
Pardot slack integration
This new feature is particularly useful if your team is already using Slack, or you are thinking about adopting the communication channel as part of your workflow.
Using the Pardot integration with Slack, you can be notified the moment a prospect engages with your marketing assets by receiving Slack notifications in real time. This gives you a better opportunity to interact with your prospects at the right time, and connect with them using personalised and tailored information.
The integration is still in Beta phase, but is available to all Pardot account holders.
